RAW BBQ Veggie Burger

There are several great RAW Vegan, or Veggie Burgers out there. Homemade are always my favorite, especially when they're made from whole foods, and RAW. The burger below goes really well on Raw Zucchini Bread, Kamut Buns, but can also be eaten on a healthy Whole Wheat (Try to limit) or Sprouted Grain Bread.

Ingredients

Recipe makes about 6 burgers


  • 1 1/2 Cups Almonds (Soaked 8-12 hours, and dehydrated until completely dry)
  • 3/4 Cup Diced Red Bell Pepper
  • 3/4 Cup Diced White or Yellow Onion
  • 3/4 Cup Diced Celery
  • 1 Crushed Garlic Clove
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley (Or 2 Tsp dried)
  • 3 TBsp Tamari
  • 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Cup Ground Flaxseed


Directions

  1. Grind Almonds into a flour in a Food Processor
  2. Add everything EXCEPT the flaxseeds. Pulse several times until incorporated
  3. Transfer to bowl, and add Flaxseeds
  4. Shape into 6 patties
  5. Dehydrate at 110°F for 5 Hours
