Gyro Sauce - Sour Cream Method

I like using Sour Cream over the Yogurt recipe as it's ready much quicker, is thicker, and tastes great.

  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 med. cucumber, pureed (puree in blender & strain to remove liquid)
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. sugar

I like my sauce spicy, so optionally you may choose to add Cayenne powder.


Directions
Combine sour cream, cucumber, garlic, salt and sugar in bowl. Blend well
